About Me
I am a History and Classics major at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada, and am currently studying at the Middle Eastern Technical University in Ankara, Turkey. Since it’s all the rage to have a blog these days, it only makes sense that I use one to keep people up to date on the trouble that usually occurs when I travel.
I love to travel, so finishing my degree in Turkey – a trove of historical treasures – is a natural fit. Not only studying, but walking over the same ground as the Hellenistic Greeks, Persians, Romans, Byzantines, Seljuks, and Ottomans is an opportunity that cannot be ignored. I’m a bit of a nerd that way.
